The Lone Dog prefers a long walk with witty conversation — just between the two of them and maybe
gelato – around the ‘hood. Leave the youngsters, and cats, and everyone else, at home.

A great socializing experience for your dog and their friends, playgroups offer an hour of off-leash playtime a local area dog park. A picinic of treats, fresh water, tennis balls and frisbees are included. Come home to a tired and happy dog. Dogs are taken in groups of no more than three.

Have a new member of the family in the house? Our puppy play program is sure to help you and your new puppy navigate through the trials and tribulations of housebreaking and socializing well with others. Each program is customized to you and your puppy’s needs. We can come two or three times a day, and the timing is determined by your scheduling needs. This service includes a unique DD Snuggle Puppy which has the feel and sound of a realistic heartbeat, two disposable non toxic heating packs and a terry cloth pouch that can be filled with dry rice and be heated. The warmth lasts up to three hours at a time. It is the perfect snuggle companion for your new family member while you’re gone, helping relieve separation anxiety. Our service includes rewarming the Snuggle Puppy, refilling kongs, changing wee-wee pads, positive reinforcement, and refreshing their water.

$30 initial consultation fee: includes a Snuggle Puppy and training set-up.
$22 a day: includes 2 visits per day, mid-morning and mid-afternoon
$30 a day: includes 3 visits per day, (10 a.m, 1 p.m, 4 p.m)

We can’t forget about our Federal Felines….capital cat care includes feeding, scooping litter, and lots of love and playtime. In addition, we will pick up your mail and newspapers, and water house plants if so desired.

One household – $25
No limit on number of cats serviced per household.

Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now! Little bladders need a chance to go. A zippy 10 minutes ’round to the corner tree and back in for a snooze. And a little nibbley snack…Or change of wee wee pad inside, socializing, and snack.

Transport your dog in a climate controlled specially equipped Land Rover to any location within the Greater D.C area and beyond. Special accomodations and other locations can be arranged individually.  Rates are set per hour and do not include tolls.

1 dog – $55

It’s your party and you can snore if you want to – you can hog all the covers – you can sleep in late or wake up early! You can stay at your house or come stay with us – whatever you choose, you have a full and busy day ahead of you! We adhere to your routine and dietary needs.

This is a highly personalized service, providing your pet with the highest standards of comfort and safety.

The first option is your dog stays in the comfort of their own home  and one of our experienced (insured and bonded) pet-sitters stay in the home and cares for your dog according to
your schedule and instructions. In addition to caring for your dog, the
sitter will gladly bring in your mail and water your plants. You dictate the details of your dogs routine and feeding  schedule prior to your departure. If you need them fed and walked early in the morning, we are here to help! Fido always gets a late night pee before bed? No problem!

Our second option is your dog boards with one of our wonderful staff members, at their home. Often, this means they will be staying with another dog, as our employees do have pets of their own.  Again, you dictate the schedule and details prior to your departure.

Provide your dog to a run along the scenic Potomac River.  Our program begins by slowly building up his/her endurance by jogging, running and rollerblading sessions that progress at a pace specific to each dog’s needs. They’ll be marathon ready in no time!
